JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the design, deployment and management of targeted development interventions for identified talent across the organisation, ensuring alignment with EPF’s strategic talent aspirations and the future leadership pipeline.
It ensures that all development interventions are effectively integrated to strengthen overall talent readiness across the organisation, while working in close partnership with the EPF Learning Campus (ELC) to enable the smooth delivery of identified development programmes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Targeted Programme Development
- Identify, design and manage targeted development interventions for all identified talents.
- Act as custodian for the deployment, tracking and assessment of development intervention plans.
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness to ensure impact on succession readiness and overall EPF Talent Bench Strength (TBS).
- Undertake continuous market scanning to identify relevant and emerging development programmes and providers aligned with EPF’s evolving organisational needs.
- Conduct market benchmarking and best practice analysis to ensure EPF’s development initiatives remain competitive and future ready.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with leading universities, business schools, and learning providers to remain informed of new and evolving development offerings.
2. Development Programmes / Interventions
Oversee the implementation and enhancement of Management Development Programmes tailored for all identified talents across organisations.Ensure programmes are aligned with leadership and job-specific competencies as well as organisational strategy.Work closely with the EPF Learning Campus (ELC) and divisions / departments to ensure smooth planning, coordination and execution of development programmes and interventions, including participant management, logistics and progress tracking.Liaise with external programme providers to support effective delivery of development programmes.3. Scholarship Programme
Establish and manage the EPF Scholarship framework, including deployment and monitoring.Provide governance and oversight on participant selection, scholarship tracking and post-programme impact assessment.4. Job Specific Certification Programmes
Act as custodian for Job-Specific Certification Programmes (CFA, CAIA, ACCA, ICAEW, SHRM, etc.)Ensure certifications are linked to organisational requirements and support employee career pathways.Track progress, evaluate outcomes and manage provider relationships.5. Stakeholders and Governance Management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Divisions / Departments and EPF Learning Campus) and external partners (universities, certification bodies, training providers) to ensure smooth execution of programmes.Prepare reports, proposals and updates for EPF governance bodies (Committees and Board) on targeted programme development.Uphold compliance with internal policies and external accreditation standards.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian citizen.Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business, Literature / TESL / or related fields from any local or overseas universities which recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).Minimum of six (6) years of experience in HR-related fields of talent development, succession planning or leadership development., or any other related fields that meets the role requirement.Experience in managing scholarships, professional certifications and leadership programmes are added advantage.Sound knowledge in talent management / development programmes.Strong analytical, result-oriented, process-driven, self-starter with the ability to multitask and work both independently and as a team member.Good interpersonal skills, able to work in a diverse environment and build good working relationships with business partners.Good report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.Proficient in both oral and written Malay and English language or a related field.JOB STATUS
