Position Overview :

Sea Hawk Global Lines Sdn Bhd, a leading integrated logistics provider based in Port Klang, is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Declaration Clerk to join our Forwarding Department. This role is responsible for handling the full spectrum of customs declaration tasks for both import and export shipments, with specific focus on Free Zone operations, including PKFZ and other bonded areas.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with customs documentation (ZB1, ZB2, K1, K2, K3, K8, K9), a solid understanding of Malaysian port and customs regulations, and the ability to work independently in a time-sensitive logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities : Import Operations :

• Monitor all Free Zone import shipments and coordinate declaration and clearance processes.
• Open new shipment job files and assign documentation tasks as necessary.
• Track daily import shipment status and provide timely updates to customers via WhatsApp and email.
• Request Release Order Tickets (ROT) from haulage vendors and coordinate deliveries.
• Request payments related to import clearances and follow up with the Finance team.
• Prepare and submit Letter of Indemnity (LOI) or Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Electronic Delivery Order (EDO) purposes.
• Send payment receipts and EDO documents to shipping lines for cargo release.
• Prepare and declare customs forms (ZB1, ZB2, K1, K2, K3, K8, K9) using the appropriate Free Zone or customs platform.
• Ensure all declarations are followed through until approval by Customs / LPK / PKFZ.
• Forward e-Gate Pass to haulage providers along with delivery instructions.
• Follow up until laden cargo is successfully delivered and empty containers are returned to depot.
• Monitor detention and demurrage with liners and ensure timely resolution.
