Warehouse Project - Expansion and Capacity (Satellite Warehouses)

Responsibilities

• Manage Stock Movement : Coordinate all stock transfers between our main and satellite warehouses, including planning, logistics, and collaborating with warehouse operations.
• Optimize Warehouse Utilization : Monitor warehouse usage and costs, identifying key indicators to proactively plan and execute cost-effective expansion or optimization projects.
• Design Optimal Layouts : Analyze current stock profiles and utilization data to develop efficient layout plans and recommend storage types that maximize space and accessibility.
• Strategize Expansion : Determine and propose ideal warehouse expansion methods, including the feasibility of satellite warehouses, multi-location operations, and innovative layout optimizations to significantly increase storage capacity.
• Lead Expansion Projects : Manage end-to-end warehouse expansion projects. This includes sourcing locations, meticulously managing budgets and timelines, and collaborating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams (Logistics, Procurement, IT) on renovations, shelving, and electrical work for seamless execution.
• Drive Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in various ad-hoc projects focused on enhancing overall warehouse processes and efficiency.
