VP / Senior Leadership role focusing on designing, coordinating, and executing information systems development and optimization to support banking operations and innovation initiatives. Responsibilities
Design / Coordinate and Execute application development. Development can be in-house or working closely with external party. Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare an analysis of costs and benefits so that management can decide if information systems and computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile. Devise ways to add new functionality to existing systems. Design and develop new systems or system enhancements by choosing and configuring hardware and software. Analyse business processes and write system process specifications to be used. Oversee the installation, configuration and deployment of new systems to customize them for the business. Conduct testing to ensure that the systems work as expected. Analyse data contained in the bank’s database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions. Verify database and data integrity. Serve as a liaison and facilitator between Group SME, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking and both internal and external parties to assist in addressing and resolving system handling logics and parameters. Train the system’s end users and write instruction manuals. Synthesize and analyse information from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps. Leadership & People Management

Degree or equivalent. Good business knowledge, understanding of a variety of business practices and familiarity with the banking industry. Basic understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side and the supply side (emerging technologies). Familiar with a variety of innovative project concepts, practices and procedures. Experience
Minimal 5 years of experience in innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or business transformation in the banking industry. Proven track record of improving user journeys, bringing in new revenue streams, maximising efficiency and developing new products and services. Seniority level
