Overview

Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge enterprise software? We are looking for a skilled Cloud-Native QA Engineer II to join our client's engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale distributed applications, collaborating closely with development teams to deliver robust, cloud-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, covering functional, regression, and system-level scenarios.
Build and manage cloud-based test environments (Kubernetes) and perform manual as well as automated test execution.
Create and maintain automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
Review technical specifications and contribute to automation planning for new product features.
Prepare and share clear test reports for each cycle, highlighting results and findings.
Document issues with precise steps to reproduce and provide actionable feedback.
Support product documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience validating cloud-distributed applications.

Hands-on background in testing enterprise-grade software.

Familiarity with container-based platforms and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana).

Experience setting up and configuring Kafka in enterprise settings.

Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, version control, and build tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).

Solid understanding of Linux environments.

Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability, with a collaborative mindset and adaptability.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
