Clickr is looking for a writer who can think, not just type. Someone who can wrangle words, co‑create with partners across different levels of experience, and keep the copy as sharp as the ideas behind it. You’ve been around long enough to know what good looks like — and you don’t let “good enough” slip through.
This is a role for the in-betweeners : no longer junior, not quite jaded. You’ll take ownership of projects from concept to rollout, help shape tone across accounts, and make sure every line (whether it’s a campaign headline or a three‑word caption) actually says something worth listening to.
What You’ll Do
- Write, edit, and refine copy across digital, social, and campaign touch points — from thumb‑stopping posts to full‑fledged integrated campaigns.
- Uphold and evolve brand tone across BAU content, ensuring alignment with ongoing strategy and positioning.
- Mentor junior members, through guidance and actionable feedback to sharpen both output and thinking.
- Collaborate with strategists and art directors to develop concepts that are both strategically grounded and creatively fresh.
- Present and defend copy choices with clarity and conviction — you’ll know the “why” behind every word.
- Keep the pulse on cultural trends, audience behaviors, and platform shifts to keep work current and effective.
- Support the Creative Director in maintaining creative excellence and consistency across all client work.
Who You Are
4–6 years into the writing game — agency experience is strongly preferred.A portfolio that shows wit, range, and the ability to write for both concept and context.Naturally curious, culturally tuned‑in, allergic to clichés.Comfortable juggling multiple accounts without dropping your sense of humour.Knows how to make a headline hit and why it should.Ability to fuel brainstorming sessions across teams of varying levels of expertise.Understanding of the Influencer space, branded content, and the social / digital advertising landscape.Fluent in the language of decks, clients, and Google Slides.Comfortable navigating the nuances of working with a diverse portfolio of clients including but not limited to finance, healthcare, lifestyle, tech and beauty verticals for both B2B & B2C audiences.Bonus Points If You
Have experience developing tone‑of‑voice frameworks or brand messaging systems.Understand how analytics can inform better creative work.Can switch tone across industries — tech, lifestyle, F&B, finance — without losing edge.Believe a well‑placed comma can make or break a line (and can defend it in a meeting).Culture at Clickr
