Junior Finance

Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance to join our finance team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to further their career in retail finance and gain valuable experience in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• General Ledger : Preparation and posting (and reversing) of journal entries, covering prepayments and accruals, as well as provisions etc. Maintain accurate schedules of balances each month-end.
• Accounts Payable : Assist in processing of invoices, expense claims, and payments accurately and promptly. Monitor accounts and aging to ensure payments are up to date.
• Bank Reconciliation : Ensure that all bank entries are recorded into the accounting system and resolving discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting : Support in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss schedules, on a monthly basis.
• Assistance in Budgeting : Help in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses to ensure they remain within budgetary limits.
• Audit Support : Assist during audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Administrative Tasks : Perform general administrative duties, such as maintenance of files.
• Special projects : To assist the managers on any special projects as instructed.
