We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting product quality inspections for suppliers across the Southeast Asia region. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to resolve quality issues effectively in collaboration with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality inspections of products from suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to enhance product quality.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports on inspection findings, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay product quality information and support procurement decisions.
- Provide training and support to suppliers on quality standards and improvement initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Assist in audits and assessments of supplier quality systems and processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a QS500 accredited institution.Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a supplier-facing role.Strong proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality issues effectively.Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., statistical process control, root cause analysis).Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
