- To work with the Senior Manager of Aviation Services (AVS) Planning & PMO to translate the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) and AVS vision and mission to articulate clear strategic priorities and action plans, not limited to the scope of strategic, operational, financial and sustainability.
- Translate engagements with respective Legal Entities' Board, key stakeholders, and management into actionable strategies to be implemented by the respective businesses.
- Facilitate and drive the development of key strategic projects across the entities under AVS, leveraging and optimising across all businesses.
- Foster digital landscape within AVS that able to bring values, increase performance and enhance processes.
Key Accountability
Identify business opportunities and address challenges with the goal of translating them into a clear actionable business plan.Develop strategic business cases and business models in response to the identified opportunities and challenges with risk mitigation.Represent the best AVS and MAG brand in representing the company to the external i.e. (not limited to) regulatory bodies, partnership, business acquisition, joint ventures, etc.Analyze and generate insights related to the overall business and operational performance as well as recommend important strategic levers, initiatives as well as corrective actions to meet and exceed business goals.Put in place important performance metrics and monitoring tools to drive and enable execution.Ensure strategic alignment (within and beyond division), communications, buy-in in executing critical business plans.Execute and work with internal and external stakeholders and consultants in developing clear strategic roadmaps, options, and scenarios for the business.Drive the development, implementation and update of resource plans needed for highly complex & strategically important projects & programmes, taking account of availabilities and scheduling.Drive / Expediate / Simplify / Enhance / Deliver AVS reporting and / or variance on all aspects of the programmes to include financials, project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS) project risk registers and life cycle management (LCM) adherence with project.Identify, develop key success measure, and monitor performance against schedules, advising key stakeholders on any variance to forecast and providing recommended solutions, to ensure contractual objectives are met.Lead process improvement and cost reduction efforts to promote rapid continuous improvement.Participates in internal business operations including business development and staff development.Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in any relevant field preferable Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Science with more than 5 years working experience in the related field of business planning, strategy, project management, operations management, analytics.
