Senior Logistics & Warehouse Manager (ASRS)
Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of company’s logistics and warehousing functions to ensure seamless supply chain operations, focusing on operational excellence, cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance
Safeguards people’s safety and food safety by enforcing regulations, implementing 5S for cleanliness, and conducting regular housekeeping & sanitation inspections.
To ensure operational staff comply with HACCP, GMP and ISO requirements to meet stringent quality expectations by customers
Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and implement logistics and warehousing strategies aligned with the business objectives.
Drive network optimization including transportation routes, warehouse layout, and inventory management.
Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure service levels are met or exceeded expectation.
Logistics Management
Oversee outbound logistics and transportation.
Manage relationships with 3PL providers.
Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to support production and customers’ requirements.
Warehousing & Inventory Control
Oversee the daily operations of warehouse / coldroom, ensuring optimal utilization of space and resources.
Juggle inventory control from receiving and storing supplies to ensure freshness through FIFO practices and to prevent stock issues.
Implement inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy, minimal losses and reduce holding costs.
Drive warehouse automation (ASRS), digitalization and lean initiatives to improve productivity.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with supply chain, production and sales teams to align with supply chain priorities.
Partner with planning and sales teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting.
Serve as key contact point for logistics and warehousing issues impacting business operations
Lead initiatives to improve delivery lead times, reduce logistics costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Ensure effective crate management in ensuring availability of crate and returning of crate from the customers.
Analyze logistics and warehousing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Introduce the best practices and modern warehousing technologies to improve efficiency.
People Management
Lead, monitor and develop a high performing logistics & warehouse team.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Plan workforce needs, training & development programs, and succession plans.
Other Duties / Tasks
Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Logistics or related discipline.
At least 10 – 12 years of working experience in logistics & warehousing or supply chain, with minimum of 5 years in managerial or senior managerial role.
