Patient Care Assistant (PCA)

Respond promptly to patient needs and provide follow-up, while assisting with daily living activities such as feeding, mobility support, hygiene, toileting, dressing, and emotional care.

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and work instructions in all assigned areas.

Notify or report to a superior when unsure of patient care matters and ensure proper duty handover during shift transitions.

Maintain cleanliness of the unit, including patient cubicles, nurse’s counters, pantries, and other related areas.

Manage medical resources and equipment by preparing them for patient care, ensuring they function properly, and coordinating sterilization with CSSD.

Practice infection control and safety measures by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining proper hand hygiene.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Able to work in 3 shifts (morning, evening, night)
• Acceptable for other non-related Diploma Certificate
• No experience necessary as required to undergo on-the-job training
• Performing range of patient care according to prescribed methods, techniques and standards
