Overview

Maybank – Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Head of Digitalisation & Automation is accountable to set the direction of the unit to meet organization, sector & department objectives as defined in role impact. The role leads the team to build, deliver & support solutions via RPA & Low Code. You will align to the organization objectives & lead the team towards success. Responsibilities

Translate organization strategies and objectives into operational level objectives. Create roadmap and implementation plans to meet the translated objectives of the unit. Build, coach & continuously improve team practices and produce high-performing team members that take pride in their results. Provide accurate and regular reporting on the team’s technical performance. Develop and maintain technical protocols and quality standards for the platform. Create roadmap and implementation plans for the platforms. Craft the overarching architectural strategy and lead implementation of complex software solutions. Architect and design solutions based on the requirements and align with the platform technology roadmap. Ensure designs and builds meet performance, scalability, security and stability requirements. Keep updated on latest technology developments and features. Produce high-quality applications, perform technical design reviews, code reviews and resolve technical issues. Oversee deployment and implementation of CI / CD practices. Ensure delivery targets are met by individuals and the team. Ensure procedures are built, tested and transferred to operations to support outstanding service delivery. Platform operations : maintenance, environment management, Level-1 to Level-3 support, service availability commitment, license management. Takes ownership and hands-on service, incident and problem identification & resolution as part of post-implementation warranty period. Compliance with bank’s standard practices and build internal procedures to meet operations objectives. Provide technical guidance, trainings and documentation. Work with stakeholders to define and refine requirements and present technical solutions clearly. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery success. Regional collaboration and support. Take ownership and solve technical problems as part of level 1 & 2 support for RPA and LowCode platform within the service level agreement. Resolve, track and manage tickets to level 3 support. Drive initiatives to improve RPA operations continuously. Job requirements

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines. Experienced leading development teams (RPA & Low Code). Technical proficiency in : OutSystems platform (OS software architect certification is advantageous) or UIPath or both. Server-side languages such as NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot. Database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Software security practices including user authentication, authorization, data validation, DDoS, SQL injection attacks. OutSystems Architecture dashboard and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Team player and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Additional knowledge and expertise in banking processes / applications is a plus. Seniority level
