Our client is an established German Manufacturing MNC based in Bayan Lepas. A dynamic and thriving global electronics manufacturer with good benefits and attractive remuneration. Their operations in Penang are expanding and are looking to hire strong talent to join them.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager with expertise in the EMS Industries to drive new business penetration, expand customer networks, and increase sales revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, market expansion, and new client acquisition, with a proven ability to secure payments and build long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Penetration

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the EMS Industries
  • Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and acquire new customers.
  • Conduct market research to assess competition, industry trends, and potential growth areas.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, cold outreach, and networking.

2. Industry Knowledge (EMS)

  • Leverage technical and commercial knowledge of EMS related products.
  • Understand customer pain points and position company solutions effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and key players.

    • 3. Building New Customer Network

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., procurement managers, engineering heads, C-level executives).
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand business connections.
  • Market Segmentation and Targeting New Customers for Business Development

    • 4. Sales Revenue Growth

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving new and repeat business.
  • Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals profitably.
  • Work closely with technical teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.

    • 5. Receipt of Payment from Customers

  • Ensure timely collections by following up on invoices and payment schedules.
  • Resolve payment disputes and maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Implement credit control measures to minimize overdue accounts.

    • Additional Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present business proposals, RFQs, and tenders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain CRM records and track sales performance metrics.

    • Required Competencies & Skills

  • Sales & Negotiation : Strong ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Market Research & Analysis : Ability to identify trends and opportunities.
  • CRM Proficiency : Experience with CRM tools
  • Technical Acumen : Understanding of EMS products.
  • Networking & Relationship Building : Proven ability to engage high-level stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen : Experience in managing receivables and profitability.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Motivation : Driven to achieve targets with minimal supervision.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years in B2B sales / business development in EMS industries.
  • Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Experience in international markets (preferred).

    • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : Up to RM12,000.00 per month

  • Bayan Lepas : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
