Shipping & Logistics Executive

Overview

Working closely with and assisting the Assistant & Deputy Manager of Shipping & Logistics. Responsible for harmonizing and monitoring Supply Chain Operations, and for the success or failure of Material Shipping & Delivery Schedule. Troubleshoot any concerns related to International Freight Transportation. Provide relevant data and analysis to the Operations Team throughout the Supply Chain. Work with existing Transportation Suppliers on optimal delivery rate and routing. Monitor the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished goods to ensure a prompt process. Utilize Logistics IT Systems or Software to optimize procedures. Plan and track finish goods shipment according to requirements. Maintain accurate logistics for all transportation and goods. Monitor team progress and identify any matters that exist. Prepare appropriate and accurate logistics reports for upper management.

Responsibilities

Harmonize and monitor Supply Chain Operations and material shipping & delivery schedules.

Troubleshoot international freight transportation concerns.

Provide data and analysis to the Operations Team across the Supply Chain.

Collaborate with transportation suppliers to achieve optimal delivery rates and routing.

Monitor incoming materials and outgoing finished goods to ensure prompt flow.

Utilize Logistics IT Systems / Software to optimize procedures.

Plan and track finish goods shipment according to requirements.

Maintain accurate logistics for all transportation and goods.

Monitor team progress and address any issues.

Prepare accurate logistics reports for upper management.

Requirements

Possesses a professional diploma / bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.

Proficient in shipping and logistics processing planning for import and export procedures.

Good understanding of freight forwarding, forwarding, shipping, and Royal Malaysia Customs for import and export procedures.

Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player, flexible, and able to collaborate with department heads and other departments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Willingness to start work immediately is an advantage.
