Trainee Teacher

This trainee teacher role offers the chance to begin your career in education with structured mentoring, hands-on classroom experience, and ongoing professional development. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, gradually building your skills and confidence while contributing to meaningful learning experiences for students.

Teaching and Learning :

• Contribute to the planning, teaching and learning standards in line with the expectations of elc, under the guidance of a Senior, Lead or Principal Teacher.
• Assist Teachers in the creation of Schemes of Work and other materials for teaching and learning, under the guidance of a Senior, Lead or Principal Teacher.
• Share in the planning and organisation of learning experiences for all students within a class setting and for the individual learning needs of each student.
• Develop a range of appropriate teaching and assessment approaches to ensure that effective learning has taken place.
• Develop a purposeful, positive and supportive teaching environment, sensitive to individual needs.
• Make effective use of resources and learning technology to enhance the skills being taught.
• Teach according to curriculum requirements, as required by your timetable, under the guidance of a Senior, Lead or Principal Teacher.
• Take advantage of professional development, coaching and mentoring to enhance your teaching skills as provided by Senior, Lead and Principal Teachers.
