Overview
The Business Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing key domestic and global accounts. This role involves nurturing business relationships, promoting company products, and executing strategic account plans to maximize penetration and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to prepare compelling proposals and quotations.
Responsibilities
- Business Development & Account Management : Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities from domestic and global accounts; build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients; develop and implement strategic account plans; monitor market trends and competitor activities; generate and qualify sales leads; convert leads into sales; achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive account management and upselling / cross-selling.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts; conduct regular business reviews; collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align strategies and enhance client experience.
- Sales Proposals & Quotations : Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and contracts; negotiate pricing and terms; maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Market & Product Promotion : Actively promote company products and services through presentations, demos, and industry events; provide feedback to product teams on market needs and customer preferences.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking : Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights; track and analyze KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
