Tax Associate / Senior Associate

Overview

You will be working as a member of the client service team to provide full breath of tax advisory and compliance services, which include the review of documents, transactions and business cases from a tax perspective, transfer pricing and indirect tax reviews, tax audits and investigations reviews, advising on tax exposure and computational treatments, and liaising with the relevant authorities. For senior associates, you will also be expected to supervise and coach junior team members and assist in managing billing and collections. Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of tax returns for corporate clients in various industries Ensure that clients and employers are in compliance with Internal Revenue Board tax regulation Assist businesses with transfer pricing planning and risk management for cross-border transactions involving different tax jurisdictions Understand the client’s business by conducting functional analysis interviews and preparation of transfer pricing documentation Education and professional skills / knowledge

Experience & Education : A recognized degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least a second class upper classification and / or a professional accounting qualification At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in a professional services environment, for senior associate level Other skills

A strong team-player, analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills Demonstrates a determined and resourceful approach to learning Capable of upholding strict confidentiality and professionalism in every situation Proficient in both written and spoken English Proficient in MS Office applications Strong drive to excel professionally and ability to guide and motivate team members, for senior associate level Opportunities available in BDO KL, JB and PNG offices Thank you for your application.
