Cloud native QA Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Native QA Engineer to work with our development teams, to test and certify our distributed enterprise software product.

You will be involved in setting up cloud test environments, application deployment, configuration, and performing both manual and automated testing.

You will be writing test scripts and implementing various automation processes.

Responsibilities :

• Develop comprehensive End-to-End test plans and test cases for functional, system, and regression testing
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve robustness and reliability issues
• Review design specs and develop testing and automation strategies for product features
• Set up cloud test environment in Kubernetes and execute test plans using both manual and / or automation
• Generate and document test reports for every test cycle
• Document and report bugs and steps to reproduce in a concise and effective way
• Provide feedback for product documentation to ensure correctness and clarity

Requirements :

Experience testing distributed applications in Cloud environment

Experience in testing and verification of enterprise-quality products

Knowledge of container orchestration / deployment / monitoring tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Fluentd, Prometheus / Grafana, etc.

Experience in installing, configuring Kafka in an enterprise environment

Familiar with CI / CD pipelines, source control and build tools like GIT, Jenkins

Experience in one or more scripting languages, preferably Python

Good troubleshooting skills, team player with a “can do” attitude, and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed

Knowledge of the Linux operating system

Knowledge of source control and bug tracking tools such as Jira

BS / MS in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent)
