JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Customs Clearance & Compliance

Attend all customs matters for empty containers, including inspections, scanning, and on-site meetings with customs officers.

Ensure urgent and accurate submission of K1, K2, K3 and ZB forms.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding or "hanging" customs forms to prevent delays.

  • Idle Equipment Management

    • Act as the dedicated contact to manage clear idle empty containers at depots and terminals

    Liaise with operational teams to optimize equipment turnaround and minimize storage costs

  • On-Hire / Off-Hire / One-Way Arrangements
  • Coordinate with lessors and truckers for equipment pickup, delivery, and repositioning related to on-hire, one-way movements.
  • Seal Management
  • Manage seal procurement, inventory, and distribution in coordination with suppliers and the HO team
  • Operational Communication
  • Monitor and respond to daily emails from the logistics team mailbox to ensure timely action on operational requests.

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Diploma / Degree holder with 2 years' experience in logistics, preferably in handling internal / external empty containers in container liner industry.
  • Those without qualifications with proven record will be considering
  • Work independently with minimum supervision and able to work in a highly dynamic environment
  • Good communication skills both in written and oral (English and Bahasa Malaysia)
