HR Generalist (Senior)

The HR Generalist includes full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and offboarding employees, handling employee relations and conflict resolution, ensuring policy compliance, and handling HR administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with hiring managers and schedule pre-recruiting meetings to be sure all the needs and wants are understood before searching.
• Source, contact, and research potential passive candidates that might meet the requirements.
• Schedule phone and in-person interviews, gather follow-up information from hiring managers for follow-up to candidates.
• Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
• Place ads on various social media outlets, websites, etc.
• When necessary, arrange travel for candidates out of the area to interview, tour, etc.
• Manage the student / co-op program for all areas, including attendance at job fairs, campus career days, etc.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
• Confirm the accuracy and integrity of all data entered in HRIS and databases.
• HRIS support and data integrity
• Monitor HRIS system / dashboards to ensure job functions, job descriptions and req IDs are completed

Follow up with managers on changes and missing information.

Arrange drug and background checks and receive results.
