Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Lead the implementation of reporting frameworks to improve financial transparency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all financial reporting activities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the reporting team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
  • Identify process improvements within the reporting function and drive their implementation.
  • Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the accounting and finance department in strategic initiatives and special projects.

    A Successful Head Of Reporting Should Have

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional certifications being an added advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
