Legal Assistant Manager / Manager #GIT18#

Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor’s Degree in Law (UK law school preferred); Malaysian Bar qualification is a plus. At least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate legal work, either in-house or in a law firm. Strong contract drafting skills, and solid grasp of corporate and commercial law with a business-oriented mindset. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ethical, proactive, and confident with a solution-driven approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts with minimal supervision.
- Advise internal teams on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters, offering practical legal solutions.
- Conduct legal research to support business decisions and ensure alignment with relevant laws and policies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure statutory compliance across local and branch offices.
- Assist in implementing corporate governance and compliance policies with relevant departments.
- Provide basic legal and compliance training in collaboration with HR.
- Coordinate with HQ and regional legal teams to maintain consistent legal practices.
- Contribute to legal risk management by improving internal policies and templates.
