Overview
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures across Malaysia and Singapore operations. Control and adjust staff system access levels, including restricting access during resignation / notice period. Track and review company electronic device activity (laptops, mobile phones, tablets) and generate a monthly report. Ensure company data protection, regular backups and compliance with security standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems, receipt printers, cash drawers, ordering tablets and related restaurant devices.
- Ensure stable and secure internet access for head office and all outlets.
- Provide daily IT support to restaurant and office staff to minimize business disruption.
- Set up and configure IT systems for new restaurant openings.
- Ensure CCTV systems, recording devices and networks are always functioning properly.
- Liaise with vendors on warranty claims, service agreements and repair services to ensure minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with third-party providers for system integration and upgrades.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related field.1–3 years’ experience in IT (cybersecurity & software troubleshooting).Knowledge of cybersecurity (data protection, access control, backups).Hands-on experience with POS systems, networking, and CCTV support.Familiar with SharePoint, and email setup.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support restaurant operations.Good communication skills to guide non-technical staff.Notes
