Overview

As a centre of excellence, Sunway Digital Hub provides world-class support services to most IT projects within the Sunway Group, and delivers value through the standardization, consolidation and optimization of IT resources within the Group.
Role
We are looking for an experienced Consultant – Data & Analytics (DA). The successful candidate will analyse data, generate insights based on business user requirements and develop ETL to support the data model for analytics. You will also guide junior analysts, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative, learning-oriented environment within the team.
Responsibilities
As part of the team you will play an important role in :
- Involve in DA project development life cycle, that cover the following but not exhaustive
- Requirement Study
- System Mapping / Functional Mapping
- Design and Build ETL (Cloud Base – HDFS, PySpark, Postgresql)
- Datamart Design
- Report Design (PowerBI , Tableau, SSRS)
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions (dashboards, scorecards, and reports) using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into analytical models and reporting solutions.
- Design and implement data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support reporting, analytics, and decision-making processes.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, queries, and data models for efficient and scalable reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT, data engineers, and business teams to ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for strategic initiatives.
