Our client "SIMPLEXITY TECH (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD." is seeking a Data Center Officer (EDCT) to join their team

Play a critical role in maintaining data center security and integrity where your vigilance and professionalism will ensure the safety of mission-critical infrastructure. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in state-of-the-art data centers across the Johor region, providing essential security oversight while developing your career in the IT infrastructure sector.

What you'll be doing?

• Security Supervision - Accompany and supervise visitors, vendors, and contractors within secured areas of the data center, ensuring compliance with strict security protocols and access control standards
• Access Verification - Verify and validate visitor identification, access authorization, and purpose of visit to maintain the highest levels of security and operational integrity
• Compliance Monitoring - Ensure all non-cleared personnel follow security, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and operational protocols throughout their visits
• Documentation Management - Maintain accurate and detailed logs of supervised individuals, activities, and access times for security and audit purposes
• Work Oversight - Monitor work performed by vendors and contractors to ensure no deviation from approved scope and maintain operational standards
• Incident Reporting - Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches immediately to the Data Center Operations team for swift resolution
• Policy Enforcement - Assist with enforcing site-specific policies including no-camera, no-food / drink, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
• Emergency Response - Support emergency response and evacuation procedures when required, ensuring the safety of all personnel
• Team Collaboration - Work closely with security and operations teams to maintain high standards of compliance and safety across all data center facilities
