Duties of an Accounts Executive (Manufacturing Industry)1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Cash Book).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and tax laws.
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery orders, and GRN (Goods Received Notes).Process supplier payments and maintain creditors' aging reports.Handle supplier queries and reconcile vendor statements.3. Costing & Inventory
Assist in product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.Maintain raw material, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods inventory valuation.Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock control and stock reconciliation.4. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in preparation and submission of SST, PCB, and other statutory filings.Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when required.Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audit purposes.5. Internal Controls & Support
Implement and monitor internal controls over financial transactions.Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Highlight cost-saving opportunities and variances in expenses.6. Administrative & Ad Hoc Duties
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (invoices, vouchers, payment records).Assist in annual budget preparation and cash flow projections.Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by Finance Manager or Management.Job Type : Permanent
