About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Jack-In Pile (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of civil and structural engineering services in Kuala Lumpur. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects by providing expert cost management and quantity analysis support. This is a full-time position based in our Cheras office.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyse detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
- Manage the tendering process, including evaluating and negotiating contractor bids
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to provide cost-related insights and recommendations
- Prepare and manage variations, claims, and final accounts
- Contribute to the development of cost-effective construction methodologies and strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices
