Senior Product Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Product Manager who is passionate about building effective, scalable, user‑friendly tech solutions to bring their expertise to our team. You will play a key role in shaping Scismic’s product vision and driving execution across our product portfolio.

You will be working as part of the Product & Engineering team based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to build, optimize, and maintain products in Scismic’s portfolio. You will be expected to attend meetings in US, UK, and Malaysia operating hours as needed. The hours for this role are 6 AM‑3 PM.

You will be a highly engaged problem‑solver who enjoys collaborating across teams, understanding client and internal stakeholder challenges, and excels at finding innovative and robust solutions which address client and business needs. You will also be technically savvy and an excellent communicator who is able to bridge the gap between technical and non‑technical communication. You will have a strong sense of initiative and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, make decisions, and work with a high level of autonomy.

Title and compensation will be commensurate based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, prioritization, and execution of Scismic’s product roadmap across our portfolio based on company goals and customer needs
• Work with business team to define product vision, success metrics, and KPIs to measure product performance and impact
• Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and inform decision‑making
• Collaborate with engineers to design, optimize, and validate new features and product improvements
• Be a trusted product expert by learning, retaining, documenting and communicating relevant product history
• Translate customer insights and business requirements into clear product specifications and actionable deliverables
• Proactively perform day‑to‑day coordination of engineering tasks within the product development cycle, from discovery and design to release and iteration
• Work with engineers to identify and problem‑solve issues or blockers that arise during development
• Manage the product backlog, drive sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming with engineers to maintain focus on priorities and deadlines
• Ensure products meet compliance, quality, and accessibility standards as required
