Overview

Maybank Digital Banking team is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Protege Trainee to join for a 12-month program. This role offers hands-on experience in both interface design execution and project coordination, providing a comprehensive foundation for a career in design and project management. Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface Design Support : Assist in transforming design concepts into prototypes and final hand-offs. Collaborate with the design and development teams to understand project requirements. Learn to prepare and organize design assets for smooth transition to developers.
  • Project Coordination Support : Help manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables under guidance. Support communication and coordination between team members and stakeholders. Track progress and assist in prioritizing tasks to meet project goals.

What You Will Learn

  • Develop and refine core design and animation skills aligned with industry best practices.
  • Build the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, intuitive, and user-friendly designs.
  • Gain a solid understanding of the project lifecycle for new concepts from initiation to completion.
  • Learn to manage project planning, execution, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to track progress and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Enhance team productivity by identifying and removing obstacles, providing necessary tools, and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.

    • Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in design, multimedia, project management, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
