Senior Cost Engineer

OPENING FOR A WELL KNOWN OIL AND GAS COMPANY IN MIDDLE EAST :

Position : Senior Cost Engineer

Experience : Minimum 15+ years of experience in Cost Engineering in Oil and Gas

Minimum Requirement :

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Cost Engineering with at least 5 years specific hands-on experience in Cost Estimation of upstream / downstream projects (i.e., Oil & Gas and / or Civil / Infrastructure) at various stages.
• Proficient in cost estimation and analysis at various project stages (e.g., Initiation, Study, FEED / ECS and EPIC / Construction), cost monitoring, forecasting & reporting, negotiations, and evaluation of claim including dispute settlement.
• Additional experience in quantity surveying will be preferred.
• Knowledge of contracting strategies and experience in tendering process including technical and commercial bid evaluation.
• Conversant with international cost estimation software.
• Fully familiar with QHSE international standards and project requirements, material standards and specifications, project management and construction techniques.
• High level of computer literacy with relevant MS Office / Project Control Software
