Key Responsibilities
Cost management : Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and financial reports to manage project budgets.
Contract administration : Drafting and managing tender and contract documents, and handling financial and legal problems that arise.
Procurement : Selecting and sourcing materials and subcontractors, and managing payments to them.
Communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and site managers to keep everyone aligned on project costs and progress.
Cost tracking : Monitoring and adjusting budgets based on design changes and actual project progress.
Quality and compliance : Ensuring the project meets all necessary legal, safety, and quality standards.
