Process orders for Export; East Malaysia & Brunei (EMB) and ensure documentation for shipment and customers requirement are in orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Planning and Warehouse on shipping requirement.
  • Process shipping documentation and shipment.
  • Liaise with forwarding agent for vessel booking and loading date confirmation.
  • For orders from East Malaysia are shipped on earliest available vessel and distributors are informed of ETD and ETA dates.
  • For export orders, ensure :

Shipped on Conference or Nominated Vessels.

  • All special requirement from customers are met.
  • After shipment, check all Bills of Lading to ensure they are genuine and have been issued by shipping company or its local agents.
  • Verify containers are on scheduled vessel.
  • All Government Regulations are complied with, prior to Export.
  • Invoice are prepared according to packing list
  • Keep customers informed on the shipment status on timely basis.
  • Manage the follow-up with the government application and custom.
  • Ensure custom requirement are updated accordingly and apply duty exemption for the export goods.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

    • Key Requirement, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma Holder with relevant background.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in shipping / logistics or equivalent will be added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Application especially MS Excel, knowledge in using SAP will be added advantage.
  • Meticulous and result-oriented.
  • Sound knowledge in MiTi ATIGA, documentation for exporting and importing of goods.
  • A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
