In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters across AFA Group, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and supporting strategic business objectives. This includes providing legal guidance across the Group's core operations in highway concession management, toll collection systems, and infrastructure maintenance. The role also involves supervising legal staff, managing external counsel, and ensuring sound corporate governance and contract practices.. This is a contract position based in Batu Caves, Selangor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic & Managerial Responsibilities

Lead the Group's legal function, ensuring legal compliance across all business units and operational areas.

• Supervise and mentor the Legal Executive, ensuring effective task execution and professional development.
• Provide legal advice to senior management on regulatory matters, operational risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies to ensure efficient legal support.

Support corporate transactions, partnerships, and restructuring activities with legal due diligence and documentation.

Operational Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements relevant to concession management, toll operations, vendor services, and maintenance activities.
