About the role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Draftsman to join the growing team at KEJURUTERAAN BENG HOCK SDN BHD' in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for producing detailed engineering drawings and technical documents to support the company's projects and operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Interpreting engineering specifications and requirements to create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings
  • Preparing design sketches, layouts, and technical illustrations to support the engineering and construction process
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings meet technical and quality standards
  • Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems for engineering drawings and documentation
  • Providing support and guidance to junior drafting staff as required

What we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering Drafting or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 1 / 2 years' experience as a Draftsman, ideally in the engineering or construction industry
  • Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
