Product Specialist (Klang Valley, Penang, Johor)

Purpose of the Role

Product Specialist plays a crucial role in the promotion and sales of pharmaceutical products. He / She identifies the right targeted customers to align with the appropriate products for patients’ benefits, explores opportunities to expand reach and access to the appropriate patients, and establishes customer segmentation and targeting to incorporate into the business plan. The role utilizes Sales ACE as a supporting selling skills tool.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, productivity and performance targets of the assigned portfolio within a given territory.
• Execute sales and marketing plans / activities to maximize the company’s sales targets.
• Drive disease awareness among HCPs, Allied HCPs, and other relevant multi-stakeholders through daily engagement and education programs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors, disease areas, and therapeutic processes to build professional customer relationships and support clinical discussions.
• Plan and manage weekly work schedules with the Sales Manager to enable efficient execution and achieve coverage, frequency, and customer-centric activities within budget.
• Develop and implement account plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders for assigned accounts to identify opportunities and gain commitment from HCPs to meet unmet needs.
• Effectively utilize the relevant SFE software to maintain quality records and report daily calls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local industry codes of conduct.
• Promote and adhere to Zuellig Pharma’s core values in day-to-day responsibilities and interactions.
