We\'re looking to add a Park Assistant located in Taiping, Perak to support our extraordinary teams and contribute to our growth.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling products, cashier operation , open & closing daily stock count.
- Operating Point of Sale (POS) Systems , use electronic cash registers or computerized POS systems to process transactions, apply discounts, issue receipts, and track sales data.
- Handling Cash - handle and count cash accurately, make changes, and balance their cash drawer at the beginning and end of their shift to ensure that transactions match records.
- Promoting special offers and to inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, loyalty programs, or special offers to encourage additional sales.
- Processing Transactions - scan items or enter product codes, calculate totals, and accept payments from customers using various methods such as cash, credit cards, debit cards, mobile payments, and gift cards.
- Providing Customer Service - greet customers, answer questions about products or prices, assist with locating items, and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Processing Returns and Exchanges - assist customers with returns, exchanges, and refunds, following store policies and guidelines.
- Recording Transactions - accurately record and track transactions, sales totals, and payment methods, which may be used for end-of-day reports or inventory management.
- Follow security protocols to prevent theft, fraud, and unauthorized access to cash or sensitive customer information.
- Team Collaboration - work closely with other store employees, including sales associates, managers, and security personnel, to ensure a smooth customer experience and efficient operations.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of their work area, including the checkout counter and surrounding space.
- End month stock count and to provide record. To attend stock audit by account department or auditor.
Event Support
Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for events.Help coordinate and manage event logistics, such as crowd control, parking, and guest assistance.Visitor Assistance
Greet and welcome visitors to the park, providing them with information about park facilities, activities, and rules.Offer guidance and directions to visitors, helping them navigate the park and locate specific areas of interest.Park Maintenance
Regularly inspect the park to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.Enforcement of Park Rules
Educate visitors about park rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.Monitor and enforce park rules, addressing any non-compliance or disruptive behavior in a courteous mannerSafety and Security
Be vigilant for potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.Collaborate with security personnel or law enforcement if situations require their interventionInformation and Communication
Maintain accurate records of park usage, visitor feedback, and incidents as required.Communicate effectively with park management, co-workers, and visitors, providing clear and concise information.First Aid and Emergency Response
Provide basic first aid and assistance in case of minor injuries or medical incidents.Quickly and appropriately respond to emergencies, following established protocols and seeking assistance as needed.Skills and qualifications
Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality or any related field.Have at least 1 year experience in handling cash / cashiering (POS System).Certifications or training in hospitality, customer service, or park management would be an added advantageBasic knowledge of park regulations, safety procedures, and first aid techniques.Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.Willing to work in rotational shift (2 shifts) and weekend .Willing to be based in Taiping, Perak.Apply for this job
