Assistant Manager, Operations Transformation - Solution Delivery MY

Penerangan pekerjaanWork closely with business users to understand and identify their pain points and challenges, conduct research and analysis to devise effective digital solutions. Act as a bridge between business users and developers / IT team to ensure requirements are communicated clearly and accurately. Conduct requirements‑gathering workshops to facilitate the process and produce Business Requirement Documents (BRD). Review data and documentation from the requirement analysis and make necessary changes. Drive and review deep‑dive analysis of user needs to understand current trends and conditions. Prepare, review and finalize Functional Specification Document (FSD) and disseminate to business users for final sign‑off. Provide support to Unit Testing, System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test and manage defects for UT, SIT and UAT. Adhere to all applicable procedures, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements. Perform any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by management from time to time. Use verbal and written communication skills to create training materials and advise others on best ways to use technology to solve problems. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Relevant university experience in technical implementation, programming and IT projects. Preferable experience in data management, i.e., ETL, data enrichment and technical design. Exposure to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. To gain in-depth understanding of the technical, business processes and services, in order to facilitate the implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives, aligned to Group Operations’ business strategy, ensuring optimal service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Specialist (Must Have)
- Use analytical abilities and problem solving to spot potential problems / issues in current processes and provide solutions, process improvements, or automation.
- Use programming skills, such as VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), Python, Pentaho Designer and any other programming language to solve the technical problem.
- Perform technical design, development and implementation of automation using vendor’s platform or open‑source tools based on business requirements.
- Continuously assess the capability of the platform and propose new enhancements that may benefit the business in future requirements.
