Your Role in VT Markets
As our Employee Engagement Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, you'll report to the Organizational Development Manager and be part of the global HR Center of Excellence team. You'll serve as the strategic driver of employee experience across Southeast Asia, working closely with local HR Business Partners across Asia, Europe and Latin America. This role places you at the heart of our cultural transformation, where you'll design and execute initiatives that directly impact how our employees connect with our mission and each other. Your work will be instrumental in supporting our ambitious growth to 600 employees by end of 2025, ensuring we maintain our award-winning culture while scaling rapidly across diverse markets.
Your Responsibilities
Employee Experience & Culture Development
- Design and implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies that enhance organizational culture and drive measurable improvements in employee engagement.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of both local Malaysian initiatives and global programs, ensuring cultural relevance while maintaining brand consistency.
- Partner with regional HR teams globally to develop and roll out key People-related projects that support business objectives, elevate employee value proposition, and drive organizational values.
Employee Programs & Communication
Oversee the management and continuous improvement of existing employee programs, measuring effectiveness and implementing enhancements.Create compelling internal communications including company announcements, employee newsletters, and strategic messaging that resonates with our diverse, multicultural workforce.Develop and manage communication channels that support transparency and collaboration across all countries and levels of the organization.Survey Management & Analytics
Lead global engagement survey execution from planning and design through analysis and delivery, ensuring high participation rates and actionable insights.Collaborate with regional HRBPs to translate survey results into targeted, region-specific improvement initiatives.Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, driving data-informed decisions about employee experience investments.Event Management & Stakeholder Coordination
Facilitate employee volunteering initiatives, building partnerships with internal teams and external community organizations.Source, procure, and manage event materials and branded merchandise, ensuring cost-effective solutions that enhance our employer brand.Provide strategic support for team events, company celebrations, and recognition programs that strengthen our collaborative culture.What Success Looks Like

What Makes You a Great Fit
Job Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Human Resource Management, or related field from a reputable university.3-7 years of relevant experience in Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, or Events Management within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment across multiple countries / timezone.Experience working in multicultural environments or supporting regional operations is highly valued.Technical and Functional Skills
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality standards.Strong analytical capabilities with experience in survey design, data analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies.Proficiency in digital communication tools and employee engagement platforms, with aptitude for learning new HR technologies.Soft Skills
