Penerangan pekerjaanDiploma / Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent. 3–5 years of relevant working experience. Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory / DHCP / DNS / IIS / GPO, Microsoft's technology stack, and administration of various virtualized infrastructure (Proxmox, Hyper‑V, QNAP QTS, AWS, Azure, VMware). Working knowledge of Linux‑based operating environments, firewall and networking appliances from FortiGate, HPE, Ubiquiti, Dell, and databases on‑premises and in the cloud. Good understanding of cyber‑security threats and technologies. Must be able to work in a team or individually with minimum supervision. Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Proactive and follow‑through mindset towards all assigned tasks.
System Administrator (f / m / d) – Penang
We are expanding our IT team and are looking for a system administrator to join the camLine family.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of the organization’s IT assets, maintenance of on‑premises or cloud virtualization infrastructure across global offices.
- Provide technical support for local and remote users for all IT‑related issues and participate in cross‑team troubleshooting of complex end‑to‑end applications, performance issues for on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Perform ITIL‑based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration and event management.
- Maintain data backup and on‑demand restoration with a clear understanding of all existing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies related to virtualization and cloud technology domains and propose improvements.
