Associate Claims (Insurances & GL)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with international patients and their home country insurance companies to ensure timely receipt, review, and verification of Guarantee Letters (GL) in accordance with hospital policies and international standards.
• Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve discrepancies, incomplete information, or mismatched bill sizes in the Financial Guarantee Letters (FGL).
• Maintain up-to-date records of all GLs in the hospital’s system and track their status for timely processing and approvals.
• Liaise with stakeholders including insurers, doctors, and third-party payers (TPPs) to address GL-related issues, ensure appropriate financial agreements, and follow up on missing or delayed information.
• Act as the primary liaison for insurance companies, TPPs, and corporate clients regarding GL approvals, hospital charges, and doctors’ fees.
• Provide secondary support for discharge and billing issues when frontline responses are insufficient, including registration, cashiering, GL verification, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and debts, using Insurance Ageing Reports to prioritize actions.
