Backend Developer

What's the role?

As a Backend Developer, you serve as a team expert in backend implementation; emphasis on Java programming, clean code principles, and testing culture. Including : diagnosing problems, getting around limitations, and creating efficiency and optimization to do things that will drive the platform’s capabilities. Actively participate in product feature and design discussions to help shape products. You present solutions to both technical leadership and other software engineering teams.

What does the role involve?

• Technical Excellence :

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality backend solutions using Java , Spring Boot , and API development tools such as GraphQL , AWS Lambda , SQS , Kinesis , DynamoDB , Redis , SNS , OpenSearch , and SQL .

Partner with technical leadership, product teams, and engineers to shape product design and ensure technical solutions align with organisational goals.

Enhance the software development lifecycle by promoting efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

Mentor developers, fostering professional growth and promoting collaboration and best practices within the team.
