• About the Role :
• Brooks is a prominent leader in the semiconductor industry, known for our innovative technology and sustainable solutions. As part of our strategic expansion in Malaysia, we are seeking experienced Supplier Development Engineers to join us and support our Greenfield manufacturing site in Johor Bahru. As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and capabilities of our suppliers. Working as a member of the Sourcing team and reporting to the Supplier Development Director, you will be responsible for establishing partnerships with key suppliers to improve the quality and on-time delivery of supplied materials while achieving cost containment. • Key Responsibilities :
• Drives component qualifications and parts qualification processes for Brooks and its partners.Other duties as assigned.
• Qualifications & Competencies :
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline with at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in supplier development within the Semiconductor or Electronics industry.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production equipment heavy Electromechanical experience a must.Ability to write technical documents. Proficiency with MS Office tools and a working knowledge of quality improvement tools and techniques.
