Maintenance Technician – Cosmo Restaurants

Join to apply for the Maintenance Technician role at Cosmo Restaurants, Franchisee of Burger King Corporation .

Responsibilities

  • Trouble shooting, maintenance and servicing of kitchen equipment and electrical appliances.
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance exercise and routine inspection check list.
  • Perform reliable and effective maintenance work within timeline / standard.
  • Standby and carry out repair work after office hours (based on shift).
  • Update and keep proper maintenance record file.
  • Assist supervisor in enhancement project to reduce downtime and improve quality.
  • Prepare maintenance report as and when required.
  • Evaluate and report on store maintenance condition.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when necessary.

Requirements

  • Certificate / Diploma in M&E, preferably non-executive specializing in Electrical or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years hands‑on experience in servicing & repairing fast food kitchen equipment (e.g., bun toaster, electric fryer, etc.).
  • Candidate with own transport and GDL licence will be an advantage.
  • Good spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to work after office hour (on‑call) and long hour.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Willing to travel within Malaysia on frequent basis.
