JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERVIEW
We're looking for a driven and strategic HR Manager to power the people engine behind our growing retail brands. You'll be the go-to leader for everything HR from hiring and culture to performance and compliance supporting multiple brands under AFED Holdings. If you thrive in fast-paced retail environments, know how to lead with empathy and data, and have a sharp eye for talent, this is your stage. Bonus points if you've worked in F&B, we love people who know the hustle of food and beverage retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and drive HR strategy to support our retail operations and people goals
- Lead recruitment efforts—from head office to frontline store teams
- Create onboarding experiences that make people feel welcome and ready
- Roll out performance reviews, training, and development plans
- Advise leaders and managers on employee relations and team performance
- Design programs to boost engagement, culture, and retention
- Ensure HR policies are clear, up-to-date, and aligned with local labor laws
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination
- Maintain and improve HR systems, data, and reporting tools
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership roleProven background in retail HR operations; experience in F&B retail is a strong advantageIn-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices across recruitment, employee relations, and performance managementStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organizationExcellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilitiesAbility to manage both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in HR systems (HRIS) and data reporting tools; confident using analytics to guide decision-makingHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligenceJob Type : Full-time
