Suu Balm is a consumer health product company with a portfolio including leading brand Suu Balm. The company has grown in Asia and is expanding further, with a focus on skincare products designed for dry, itchy, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin. The role described is for a Product Specialist (Medical) within Livemed Sdn Bhd products promoted through assigned medical channels.
The Opportunity
As a Product Specialist (Medical), you will promote, market, and distribute Livemed Sdn Bhd products through assigned medical channels. You will identify opportunities to increase product sales, investigate and resolve customer complaints, and negotiate sales terms with customers to grow the medical business. This position requires interstate travel between Central (Selangor) and Negeri Sembilan on a scheduled basis.
Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through strategic territory management.
- Utilize efficient time management and resource utilization with consultative selling to grow business in the assigned territory.
- Plan, schedule, and organize daily tasks to engage potential healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Use Outlook calendar and CRM systems to schedule monthly call plans and enable customer segmentation.
- Establish and maintain networks with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision makers; build rapport with healthcare professionals and internal teams.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- Engage in merchandising activities with hospital retail pharmacies.
- Assist in organizing meetings, talks, seminars, CME / CMD sessions, and promotional events to raise brand awareness.
- Utilize sales support materials and clinical papers to gain recommendations and endorsements from healthcare professionals.
- Analyze sales data, competitor information, and market intelligence to develop actionable sales plans.
- Differentiate products from competitors and address customer issues confidently as a subject matter expert in the therapeutic area.
- Update and maintain sales tracking reports to maximize territory effectiveness.
- Take ownership of additional tasks assigned by management and pursue continuous learning and growth.
What you’ll need to succeed
Diploma or Degree in Science / Medical, or related disciplines (or equivalent).Innovative, result-oriented, self-motivated, resilient, and able to relate to diverse groups of people.Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, presentation, and analytical skills; digitally proficient.Own transport and a valid driving license.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.At least 1 year of experience in Pharma / Medical sales, particularly with healthcare professionals; experience in dermatology is an added advantage; experience in other regions is a plus.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Seniority level
