Job Summary

Purchase Requisitions :
- Review and process daily purchase requisitions from different departments within the organization.
Supplier Communication :
Correspond with suppliers, clarify purchase details, negotiate terms, and confirm orders.Order Processing :
Generate purchase orders accurately and ensure timely transmission to suppliers.Supplier Performance Tracking :
Monitor daily supplier performance in terms of delivery timeliness and product qualitySupplier Evaluation :
Conduct weekly evaluations of supplier performance and adherence to agreed-upon terms.Inventory Monitoring :
Review weekly inventory levels and align purchases to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.Documentation and Filing :
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all purchasing activities for easy retrieval and auditing.Supplier Relationship Development :
Evaluate and strengthen long-term relationships with key suppliers for enhanced collaboration and mutual benefits.Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, or related field.Professional certifications like Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) can be advantageous.Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, usually ranging from 1 to 5 years depending on the organization and position levelAbility to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with suppliers, and team membersJob Summary
