Client is a Singapore-based semiconductor solutions provider with operations across Southeast Asia. They're seeking a Technical Director to oversee engineering and quality teams in semiconductor device packaging and tape & reel processing. This role will be based in Philippines.

What you will Do?

  • Lead tape & reel operations, ensuring compliance with JEDEC / EIA standards
  • Manage equipment selection, installation, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Drive process yield, throughput, and reliability improvements
  • Oversee automation, vision inspection, and handling system enhancements
  • Coordinate NPI transfers and define packaging specifications

    • Your Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 8-10 years in semiconductor back-end operations, with 3-5 years in tape & reel
  • Familiarity with JEDEC / EIA standards and semiconductor packaging
  • Strong knowledge of automation, inspection, and material handling systems
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
