Overview
Automation & Digitalization Ops Specialist role at CelcomDigi. The Automation and Transformation Specialist is responsible for leading strategic retail automation projects across various channels, spearheading solution development, providing expert guidance, identifying opportunities for automation, researching, evaluating, and recommending best-in-class automation technologies, and developing training plans for store personnel on new automated processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects for retail automation across the channel, including customer touchpoints, inventory management, back-office processes, and beyond.
- Spearhead solution development and implementation.
- Provide expert guidance and serve as a trusted advisor to empower teams and drive successful adoption.
- Identify opportunities for automation across the retail channel.
- Lead the implementation of transformation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and conduct comprehensive training plans for store personnel on new automated processes.
- Analyze data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of post-automation initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Marketing) to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Requirements
2-year fixed-term contract.Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.At least 8 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the telecommunications industry.Proven track record in implementing automation solutions within a retail environment.Strong knowledge of retail technology trends and emerging automation tools, including AI, chatbots, and self-service kiosks.Experience in retail operations and / or strategic planning.Exposure to change management, business transformation, or cross-functional collaboration is a strong advantage.Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and practices.Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Next Steps
