Customer Service (English-speaking) – NTТ DATA, Inc.

Overview

The Customer Service role is an entry level administrative role that supports the smooth operation of the managed services desk function. This role involves coordinating service requests, assisting the client service desk team, and maintaining documentation and records to support efficient incident resolution and service delivery. This position is on-site in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia, and may require a 24x7 shift structure based on a defined roster.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Managed Services Client Service Desk team.
  • Perform entry-level administrative tasks as required by the team.
  • Receive, validate, and log client requests, capturing request details.
  • Ensure correct escalation procedures are followed for all critical calls and requests; assist with analyzing and interpreting requests to ensure correct categorization and prioritization.
  • Keep users updated on the progress of ticket / resolution status.
  • Maintain all relevant documents related to tickets / requests, including client information.
  • Communicate professionally, provide updates, and ensure clients are informed of actions being taken on their behalf.
  • Perform any other related task as required.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Ability to work in a 24x7 shift structure based on a defined roster.
  • Ambitious self-starter with ability to work under general direction.
  • Sound judgment to escalate issues when needed.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Integrity to ensure excellent client service and retention.
  • Good attention to detail and client-focused approach.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Academic qualifications and certifications

  • Diploma in IT / Computer Science preferred; open to high school certification (SPM) or equivalent.
  • Good English speaking, writing, and communication skills.
  • Good-to-have (not mandatory)

  • Basic level experience in managed services / service desk.
  • Basic experience in the technology industry and call center environment.
  • ITIL certificate or equivalent.
