Responsibilities

• Managing operational performance of the Company’s Manufacturing Division, which comprises Production (Assembly and Toolshop), Procurement, Logistic and Store, Production Planning.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Oversee and manage the entire manufacturing operations, including safety and facility issues.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the production of required daily / weekly / monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs and ensuring best working practices are maintained.
• Analyze, strategize, formulate, and implement manufacturing operation plans to achieve objectives and targets set by the company.
• Plan and execute manufacturing and distribution plans to meet customers’ requirements for product quality, cost, and delivery timeliness.
• Drive process improvement focused on machine Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Manage and supervise production floor employees to meet production output and productivity targets.
• Set manufacturing department objectives / KPIs, review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
• Accountable for the company’s manufacturing capability, competency, capacity and ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Lead continuous improvement programs such as KAIZEN, Lean, and 5S in the manufacturing operations.
• Recommend and implement new technologies, systems and machinery to remain competitive and meet market demands.
• Oversee and manage the organization’s supply chain (technical), including procurement of raw materials, tooling and vendor management to meet manufacturing requirements.
